Cauble Park

Cauble Park is one of northwest Georgia’s finest parks. Located on Beach Street on the Northside of Lake Acworth, the 25-acre park contains fishing points, public restrooms, a boating ramp (for electric motor driven boats only), a boardwalk, a beach, rental facilities, two playgrounds, and an open play area. Cauble Park opens at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. Rental facilities include four pavilions, a lakeside gazebo, and a beach house.
There is no lifeguard on duty at the beach and the swimming area opens at sunup and closes at sundown. No pets are allowed on the beach areas and must be always on a leash while in the park.
Cauble Park is home to our Fourth of July concert and fireworks show.
Cauble Park is also home to the Veterans Memorial at Patriots Point. Cauble Park features a series of trails that connect the park to both Collins Circle and Winn Street.

Recently, Cobb County and all the cities within the county worked together to update a “489 – Service Delivery Strategy” agreement. Prior to this, many of our City programs included a resident and non-resident fee that was applied dependent on whether you lived within the city limits of Acworth. Through this negotiation process with the County, the City of Acworth agreed to extend resident status to not only those living within the City limits, but also to include anyone residing in Cobb County.
What does this mean for you? Moving forward, all participants that live within Cobb County will qualify for “resident” rates. Anyone residing outside of Cobb County, including but not limited to: Paulding, Bartow and Cherokee counties, will be considered “out of county residents”. There will continue to be a slight discount for those residents that live within Cobb County.
This change will take effect on Monday, October 28th. If you have any questions on this or your residency status with programs, please call the Acworth Community Center at 770-917-1234.
