Appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, the City Clerk is responsible for assisting the Mayor and Board and the City Manager.  The City Clerk oversees clerk’s office operations, court services, Liberty Hill Cemetery, alcohol and occupational licensing and taxes, and solicitor/peddler permits.  The City Clerk prepares meeting agendas and records minutes of Board meetings, serves as the superintendent for municipal elections, processes open records requests, and maintains city records.

Liberty Hill Cemetery

Liberty Hill Cemetery is located at 4900 Cemetery Road, Acworth, GA  30101.

Costs are as follows:

City residents – $1,050.00 per lot

Non-City Residents – $2,625.00 per lot

Interment/Burial Permit Fee – $105.00
