At the Thursday, March 6 regular city council meeting, Mayor Pro-Tem Houston recognized and swore in members of the City of Acworth's board and commission members who were either new or re-appointed into their roles. At the Thursday, March 6 regular city council meeting, Chief Mark Cheatham swore in Captain Tom Elledge and Public Safety Liaison Tina Pallone. Captain Elledge brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience, including 28 years with the Cobb County Police Department and will lead the Operations Division for the Acworth Police Department. Public Safety Liaison Tina Pallone brings 30 years of experience from the Bartow County Sheriff's Office to the Acworth Police Department.
