Acworth Youth Basketball
We are excited to announce another season of The Acworth Youth Basketball League!
Registration will begin on Monday, August 5, 2024 for residents of the City of Acworth. Non-resident registration will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024. The registration deadline is Monday, October 14. Assessments will take place on Wednesday, October 16, Thursday, October 17 and Saturday, October 19. You will only need to attend one assessment session. Practices will begin the week of November 4 and games will begin Saturday, December 7. The season will end by the middle of February.

The following divisions will be offered:
- 5 & 6 Co-ed Division
- 7 & 8 Year Old Girls Division
- 9 & 10 Year Old Girls Division
- 6th- 8th Grade Girls Division
- 7 & 8 Year Old Boys Division
- 9 & 10 Year Old Boys Division
- 11 & 12 Year Old Boys Division
- 13 & 14 Year Old Boys Division
All participants will be required to have a birth certificate on file. If you have a birth certificate on file from a previous season or from our Acworth Youth Volleyball League, you will not need to submit another copy. Please either email a copy to parksbirthcertificate@acworth-ga.gov or bring a copy to our office located at 4361 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA 30101. All birth certificates will be locked away and filed safely. You will not be able to register unless we have a birth certificate on file.
We are also in need of volunteer coaches for the 2024 – 2025 season. If you are interested in coaching, please complete and return the below coaching application and background check.
