Installation of Historic Interpretive Panel at Frana Brown Park

Oath of Office Administered to Justin Dupree

At the Thursday, August 21 regular city council meeting, Alderman Houston acknowledged and swore in Justin Dupree on his promotion to Stormwater Coordinator and recognized his accomplishment in performing his many duties, including inspection and enforcement of sites for land-disturbance activities in an effort to keep our waterways clean. Recognition of Mike Payne as Acworth Police Department’s Officer of the Quarter

At the Thursday, August 21 regular city council meeting, Sergeant Mistretta recognized Officer Mike Payne as Officer of the Quarter for his extraordinary dedication in honoring the legacy of one of our own, Fallen Officer Leonard Rainey. Former Officer Rainey was rightfully recognized on the Officer Down Memorial Page and included on the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C., this year.

Presentation Recognizing Acworth Public Safety Cadets for Successful National Training Conference
