Ribbon Cutting Celebrating Fit at the Farm

Mayor Allegood and the City team hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 15, in celebration of the new outdoor fitness area, “Fit at the Farm” at Logan Farm Park. The project was made possible by Tom Kris & Sons Plumbing and dedicated to their mother, Kristy Reidy. The City, along with the Reidy family, are looking forward to offering accessible resistance training for those who enjoy our parks.

Halloween JamBOOree

Acworth Halloween JamBOOree will be on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the large field in front of the playground. Summer Downtown Classic Car Cruise

On Saturday, August 29, Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise in Downtown Acworth. The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street). The Lake City Cruisers partner with the City and the downtown Acworth merchants to hold these Classic Car Cruises. The event is free to the public. A $5 entry fee is requested for all vehicles in the cruise. All proceeds go to the Horizon Field, an all-inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth. READ MORE

Acworth Big Rig Back-to-School Bash

The City of Acworth is excited to bring you a new touch-a-truck style event that will combine local businesses and the “Big Rigs” you see on the roads every day!
