Proclamation in Recognition of National Employee Benefits Day

At the Thursday, April 2 regular City Council meeting, Mayor Allegood presented the National Employee Benefits Day Proclamation to members of the Acworth Human Resources Department. National Employee Benefits Day was founded in 2004 to recognize benefit professionals, educate employers and employees, and focus on vital initiatives including financial well-being and health care. The City is grateful to the entire HR team for their dedication to helping build a healthier, more resilient workforce.

The City of Acworth is excited to announce that it has been ranked Atlanta's 2nd Healthiest Employer-Medium Company by the Atlanta Business Chronicle! At the Thursday, December 4, regular city council meeting, Human Resources Director Dana Alvin recognized the city's wellness committee for its advocacy for opportunities and educational resources to encourage healthy habits and preventative screenings for the City Team.
