    Get ready for an evening of excitement, fun, and father-daughter bonding on June 6th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department's annual Daddy Daughter Date Night! This event will be held at Tanyard Creek Overlook in the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street). Daddy-Daughter Duo Tickets will be $40.00 for residents, and $50.00 for non-residents.     Visit Acworth is the city's tourism bureau authority charged with branding and marketing the city for the purpose of attracting visitors to enjoy Acworth's two beautiful lakes and historic downtown districts. Visit Acworth meets the second Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Acworth City Hall.

    In honor of America's 250th birthday, the City of Acworth is excited to announce the Threads of Freedom Parade to be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The parade will run along Historic Main Street with a start at the First Baptist Church before finishing at the Holbrook. Residents, families, businesses, and organizations will be invited to register to participate in the parade.
