The 2026 Historic Downtown Acworth Farmer’s Market will take place on Friday mornings between April 10 and October 30, and Saturday mornings between May 16 and November 14 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The market is located at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street) in Acworth. There will be no farmers market on the following Saturdays: July 25, October 17, and October 24. The Lake Authority is a five-member board where the elected Mayor serves as the Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and Board to serve. They are a group of citizens that assist the City by providing citizen input and engagement into the operation, management, and the development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority meets at the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street) on the first Monday of the month at noon.
