The Special Olympics Polar Plunge, hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run For Georgia, will take place again at Acworth Beach at Cauble Park will return on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The purpose behind the Polar Plunge is to support and spread awareness for the 17,429 Special Olympics Georgia athletes. The Polar Plunge is the largest fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics. On Saturday, March 29, Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise in Downtown Acworth. The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street). The Lake City Cruisers partner with the City and the downtown Acworth merchants to hold these Classic Car Cruises. The event is free to the public.
