• Daddy Daughter Date Night

    Get ready for an evening of excitement, fun, and father-daughter bonding on June 7th from 6:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. at Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department's annual Daddy Daughter Date Night!  This year's theme will be "Emerald City"! Daddy Daughter Date Night will be held at the Tanyard Creek Overlook in the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street). Daddy-Daughter Duo Tickets will be $40.00 for residents, and $50.00 for non-residents. All additional daughter tickets will be $10.00.   • Concert on the Green: A Juneteenth Celebration

    Concert on the Green - A Juneteenth Celebration will take place at Logan Farm Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event opens at 5:00 p.m. with live music by Bogey and the Viceroy taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. The City of Acworth invites everyone to bring blankets and folding chairs to join for this celebration of freedom and community.

  • Acworth Big Rig back-to-school Bash

    Logan Farm Park 4405 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA

    The City of Acworth is excited to bring you a new touch-a-truck style event that will combine local businesses and the “Big Rigs” you see on the roads every day! This back-to-school bash will take place at Logan Farm Park on Saturday, July 26. We will have a “silent hour” from 9am – 10am with limited lights, sirens and sounds for our sensitive populations. From 10am – 2pm be ready for all the lights, sirens, horns and more! Food trucks will be present.  

  • Summer Downtown Classic Car Cruise

    On Saturday, August 30, Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise in Downtown Acworth. The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street). The Lake City Cruisers partner with the City and the downtown Acworth merchants to hold these Classic Car Cruises. The event is free to the public.     The Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department is excited to host the Mother-Son Camp Out at Proctor Landing Park on September 13-14, 2025. This event is open to mothers and their sons, 13 and under. Participants will camp alongside the beautiful Lake Allatoona while learning about camping etiquette, campfire building, knot tying, and a variety of other outdoor activities!
