Let freedom Ring! The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta. Memorial Day Ceremony

The ceremony to honor those who have given their lives in service to our country will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Cauble Park at Patriots Point. Veterans and current servicemen will pay tribute to brave men and women who have fought and died for our nation. Engraved pavers dedicated to those who have served in our armed forces that have been purchased since the previous Veterans Day will be presented at the event. Lake Acworth Clean-Up

Help keep Lake Acworth beautiful! Acworth Power and Public Works' Stormwater Division is partnering with Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department to host a Lake Acworth Clean-Up on Saturday, March 23 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Cauble Park. Interested volunteers are encouraged to RSVP to Luke McTaggart at lmctaggart@acworth-ga.gov. Volunteers are asked to bring kayaks and canoes if they have them. Special Olympics Polar Plunge

The Special Olympics Polar Plunge, hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run For Georgia, will take place again at Acworth Beach at Cauble Park will return on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The purpose behind the Polar Plunge is to support and spread awareness for the 17,429 Special Olympics Georgia athletes. The Polar Plunge is the largest fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics.
