Mayor Allegood, Alderman Prather, Alderman Carmichael, Alderman Houston, the Acworth Business Association, and the City team were thrilled to host a ribbon cutting on Friday, May 8, in celebration of the grand opening of Tap Town Acworth in Downtown Acworth’s Parkside District. Congratulations to Jay and Adam and thank you for investing in the city! TapTown is a community gathering place for craft beers and chef-crafted American comfort food. You can find it right across from Logan Farm Park at 4443 Cherokee Street.

Swearing in of Planning and Zoning Commission Members

At the Thursday, February 5 regular city council meeting, Mayor Allegood recognized and swore in members of the City of Acworth's Planning and Zoning Commission, Cheno Echevarria and Jeff Steorts, who were re-appointed into their roles.
