On Thursday, July 16, Mayor Allegood, Alderman North, Alderwoman Haase, Alderman Houston, and the City Team gathered together with the Acworth community in downtown’s Parkside district to celebrate the successful restoration of the historic McCray Farmhouse!  The City is grateful to the entire project team for their thoughtful and intentional work to maintain the historic integrity of such a special Acworth building, allowing the preservation of its story so it can continue to bring the community together for years to come in new and lasting ways. Mayor Allegood also celebrated the significance of the McCray family, their memories as a family raised in the home, and the passing of the home along to the Kaylor family, as Sabrina Kaylor brings new memories to the building when it opens to the community as Bizarre Coffee this autumn.
