At the Thursday, April 3 regular city council meeting, Mayor Tommy Allegood recognized Dr. Reverend Bryant Harris and presented a proclamation in recognition of his retirement from Mars Hill Presbyterian Church of Acworth. Reverend Harris has served at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church for 30 years demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his congregation and the greater Acworth community, to which the City is grateful, noting that his dedication, leadership, and unwavering faith have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire future generations. Reverend Harris’ spouse Linda and members of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church were in attendance for support.
