Alderman Pugliese presented the Annual United States Navy Day Proclamation to Navy Veteran Steve Hale at the regular city council meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2023.  This year marks the 248th year since the United States Navy was established for the purpose of upholding our national policies and interests, protecting our commerce, supporting our international obligations, and guarding our country and its overseas possessions and dependencies.  The Acworth community is urged to remember and thank our veterans and active military personnel who faithfully serve in this and other branches of the United States Armed Forces.
