Alderwoman Haase was excited to present a proclamation celebrating National Travel & Tourism Week at the Thursday, May 7 regular city council meeting. Accepting the proclamation on the city’s behalf were members of The Acworth Tourism Bureau Authority: Visit Acworth. National Travel and Tourism Week takes place May 3-9, 2026, and highlights the essential industry that leads to economic growth, benefits local businesses, fosters mutual understanding, and reinforces a vibrant and safe community. The City is grateful to all involved in making Acworth a wonderful place to visit and call home, and urges all residents to join in and recognize the vital role the travel and tourism industry plays in our city and nation.
