At the Thursday, May 7 regular city council meeting, Alderman Houston recognized and presented the annual Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month Proclamation to the members of the Gena McLeod Memorial Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to promote the importance of motorist awareness and safely sharing the road with motorcycles. The City of Acworth recognizes May as Motorcycle Awareness Month and encourages all residents to join in the effort to keep our roads and highways safe!
