Joshua Joseph grew up in the Acworth Warrior Youth Football Program, going on to become one of the State’s premiere student athletes at North Cobb High School where he earned recognition as Cobb County Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-County, and serving as a team captain while demonstrating leadership, discipline, and excellence both on and off the field. Joshua continued his football career at the University of Tennessee, where he became an impact defensive player for the Volunteers, and has recently achieved his lifelong dream of playing professional football after being selected by the Washington Commanders in the 2026 National Football League Draft, becoming a great source of pride for his family, coaches, alma maters, community, and the City of Acworth.

Throughout his athletic and academic journey, Joshua Josephs has exemplified the values of hard work, perseverance, and humility, continues to use his platform to positively impact others, and serves as a role model for future generations in our community. The City of Acworth is incredibly proud of and grateful for his generosity and willingness to better his community through the Joshua Josephs Give Back Event.

The Joshua Josephs Back-to-School drive directly supported the Barber Middle School Boys to Men Program, the Awtrey Middle School Food Pantry, and the Acworth Expanding Horizons program, while also filling additional backpacks with school supplies to serve the Acworth community.
