At the Thursday, February 5 regular city council meeting, Alderman North presented the annual Georgia Day Proclamation to members of the Liberty Hill Chapter DAR. Georgia Day is celebrated on February 12, 2026, and is in honor of our state’s 293rd anniversary. The City of Acworth encourages all residents to come together as we celebrate Georgia’s natural, cultural, and historical wonders and sites, and recognize the people, institutions, and events that have shaped our shared history.
