On Saturday, June 20 at the Concert on the Green: Juneteenth Celebration at Logan Farm Park, Mayor Allegood was honored to present a proclamation in recognition of Juneteenth to Alderwoman Haase. Juneteenth is a time to celebrate the many achievements and contributions that African Americans have made to our economic, cultural, spiritual, and political development because of their freedom, and the City of Acworth thanks everyone who came out to join us in reflection, recognition, acknowledgement and celebration at Saturday’s concert!
