Kim Watt: Director
Kim has served as Director of Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department since August 2021, previously serving as the Assistant Director over Recreation as well as the Director of the Acworth Tourism Bureau Authority. Kim graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and a minor in Marketing. She is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and a graduate of GRPA Leadership program. Kim and her family reside in downtown Acworth and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, exploring new parks, and volunteering with Special Olympics. She has over 20 years of recreation experience and is extremely honored to work and play in the community where she lives.
Neely Motiejunas: Assistant Director – Recreation
Prior to Acworth, Neely served many roles over an 18-year career with Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency. Neely graduated from Shorter College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management. She is an active member of the Georgia Recreation and Park Association serving both on state committees and within her local district. In her spare time, Neely enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs Bandit and Dexter, watching her daughter play lacrosse, working out, and cheering on the Falcons.

Nick Fryman: Assistant Director – Operations
Nick is originally from Fort Lauderdale FL, but he and his family moved to Acworth in 1997 and he has lived here ever since. Nick graduated from Truett McConnell College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management. Best part of his job is working with the great people on our staff and improving all our parks and facilities on a daily basis. His favorite event is Santa’s Arrival. In his free time, Nick he enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. He currently resides in Dallas with his wife, daughter, and their Australian Shepard Rory.

Edwin Lacher: Athletic Coordinator
Eddie graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, and in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Sports Administration. Eddie is originally from Jupiter, Florida, but currently lives in Vinings with his dog Chief. He loves his job because he is surrounded by sports everyday. In his spare time, Eddie likes to spend time with family and friends, workout, play sports, and cheer on FSU, the Falcons, and Braves.

Daulton Hill: Events and Communications Coordinator
Daulton played baseball at Calhoun Community College and Georgia Highlands before transferring to Kennesaw State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management in 2018. He was born and raised here in Acworth where he lives with his wife and two cats Mikko and Thor. Daulton is the ultimate team player, supporting all of our coordinators in their programs. When he is not at work, Daulton enjoys outdoor sports, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time and traveling with his wife and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Lauren McMurry: Active Adult Coordinator
Lauren is a Kennesaw State graduate and still currently lives in Kennesaw with her two sweet dogs, Stella and Hank. Lauren loves getting to know and help the active adult community in Acworth. With the Eagles being Lauren’s favorite band, you could consider her an old soul. When she is not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends and family, kayaking, going on outdoor adventures and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
Jordon Gonzalez: Youth Programming Coordinator
Jordon graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Recreational Sport Management. Originally from Southern California, she moved to Georgia in 2016. Jordon’s favorite event is Breakfast with the Grinch. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and exploring all Northeast Georgia has to offer. She currently resides in Kennesaw with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs and cat.

Trey Tidwell: Assistant Recreation Coordinator
Trey was originally born in New Jersey, then moved to Acworth, Georgia, when he was 10. He has grown up through recreational activities and has worked for the City of Acworth for just about 9 years, starting out as a Counselor in Training. In his free time, Trey enjoys traveling, fashion design, live music, festivals, food, anime, and walks with his dog Marley.

John Greeson: Parks Operations Manager
John attended Georgia Highlands College with a focus on Business Management. He grew up in the Dallas/Acworth area participating in the Acworth sports programs through his youth. In his free time, John enjoys going to and watching the Atlanta Braves and UGA play. He loves spending time with friends and family and traveling with his wife.

Clem Freeman: Athletics & Horticulture Operations Manager
Clem attended Manatee Junior College before transferring to Florida State University to play college baseball. He was the two time 1st round draft pick to play baseball professionally for the Cincinnati Reds. Clem relocated to Georgia in 2011 and now works with us full time. He was named the 2014 GRPA, District 5 Outstanding Facility and Grounds Maintenance Staff Member of the Year. He now resides in Euharlee with his wife and enjoys spending time with their blended family of 6 children, playing golf, and cheering on the FSU Seminoles and the Atlanta Braves.

Kevin Blank: Facilities Operations Manager
Originally from the State of Washington, Kevin and his family now call Cartersville home. Graduating from Oregon State University, Kevin enjoys collecting sports memorabilia, spending time with his growing family and cheering on the Seattle Mariners, Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and his Oregon State Beavers. His favorite part of the job is coming in to work with his staff to make the City of Acworth better everyday.

Ashlee Jordan Fox: Business Manager/Assistant Recreation Coordinator
Ashlee graduated from the University of Northwestern with a degree in Communication Studies. Originally from Minnesota, she moved to Kennesaw. She loves to interact with all our customers and assist with reservations and registrations. In her free time, Ashlee enjoys traveling, hiking, reading a good book, and antiquing with her husband.

Haley Hunter: Customer Experience Coordinator
Haley studied Sustainability at Arizona State University, but was born and raised in Georgia. She enjoys getting to work closely with our community class instructors and the Acworth Community Garden. In her free time, Haley loves taking care of plants, reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends, family, and her pets Keller and Binx.
