Public Hearing: To receive citizen input concerning the Millage Rate for the 2025 Tax Digest for the City of Acworth. The City is proposing to keep the Millage Rate at 8.95 Mills, which is the same as it was in 2024.

This back-to-school bash will take place at Logan Farm Park on Saturday, July 26. We will have a “silent hour” from 9am – 10am with limited lights, sirens and sounds for our sensitive populations. The Lake Authority is a five-member board where the elected Mayor serves as the Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and Board to serve. They are a group of citizens that assist the City by providing citizen input and engagement into the operation, management, and the development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority meets at the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street) on the first Monday of the month at noon.
