Proclamation for Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31
At the Thursday, October 19 regular city council meeting, Alderman Brett North presented William Hughes, Johnathan Hughes, and Elizabeth Hughes with a proclamation designating October 23-31 as Red Ribbon Week.
Red Ribbon Week encourages a drug-free lifestyle and involvement in drug prevention and reduction efforts. Members of the community are encouraged to wear a red ribbon to show their support of a drug-free environment.
