At the Thursday, September 5 regular city council meeting, Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department Director Kim Watt and Assistant Director Neely Motiejunas recognized Edwin Lacher, Recreation Coordinator – Athletics, for ten years of dedicated service to the City of Acworth. Mr. Lacher served as Business Manager/Assistant Recreation Coordinator until 2021 before he was promoted to Recreation Coordinator – Athletics. His role oversees programming from youth and adult basketball leagues to sports camps, the Acworth Turkey Chase, and more. The City of Acworth is grateful for Mr. Lacher’s ten years of service and appreciates his contributions to the city’s quality of life for its residents and visitors.
