At the Thursday, May 1 regular city council meeting, Alderman Prather presented the annual National Safe Boating Week Proclamation to Gregory Fonzeno, Deputy Director-Education Directorate, US Coast Guard Auxiliary. National Safe Boating Week is being recognized May 17-23, in Acworth to promote year-round efforts for safe boating in the community.
