CITY OF ACWORTH
MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 4, 2025

The City of Acworth will hold a General Election on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025, to elect the following offices (At-Large): Mayor, Alderman Post 4, and Alderman Post 5.

The following is the list of candidates who qualified for office during the qualifying period that was held on Monday, August 18, 2025, through Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Advance Voting will be held at Roberts School, 4681 School Street, Acworth, GA 30101, beginning Tuesday, October 14 through Friday, October 31. Voting will also be held on Saturday, October 18 & 25 and Sunday, October 26. A schedule is available on the Cobb County Elections & Board of Registration website at https://www.cobbcounty.gov/elections/voting/advance-voting or call 770-528-2581 for additional information.

The polls will be open on Election Day, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. To check the location of your municipal precinct, go to mvp.sos.ga.gov. For each office, the candidate receiving a majority of the votes cast shall be elected. Where no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast, a Runoff election shall be held on DECEMBER 2, 2025.

Cobb County Elections & Registration is appointed to conduct all procedures for the November 4, 2025, Municipal General Election.
