    Let freedom Ring! The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta. Each year on July 4th, live music and fireworks take place at Cauble Park. Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (subject to change depending on weather).     Acworth Lake Authority

    Acworth Community Center 4361 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA

    The Lake Authority is a five-member board where the elected Mayor serves as the Chairman.  The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and Board to serve.  They are a group of citizens that assist the City by providing citizen input and engagement into the operation, management, and the development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority meets at the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street) on the first Monday of the month at noon.

    Visit Acworth is the city's tourism bureau authority charged with branding and marketing the city for the purpose of attracting visitors to enjoy Acworth's two beautiful lakes and historic downtown districts. Visit Acworth meets the second Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Acworth City Hall.
