The Daffodil Project Blooms at North Cobb Senior Center

In November of 2022, Mayor Allegood joined the Acworth Active Adults at the North Cobb Senior Center to plant hundreds of bulbs as part of The Daffodil Project. This spring, the daffodils have bloomed beautifully. The daffodils were planted outside the senior center in honor of children lost to the Holocaust. This living memorial project hopes to plant 1.5 million symbolic daffodils in support for children across the world who continue to suffer humanitarian crises. Presentation of Check to Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation

At the Thursday, February 16 regular city council meeting, Alderman Pugliese presented a check to Tony Alexander of the Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation. At the Thursday, February 16 regular city council meeting, Alderman North presented a proclamation in recognition of Black History Month to the Acworth Achievers afterschool program which is held at the historic Roberts School Community Center. Regina Russell Elected 2023 President of the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association

Proclamation for Georgia Day

Scouts at the February 2nd Council Meeting
