Recognition of Marketing and Communications Manager Taylor Aubrey for Travel Marketing Professional Certification
At the Thursday, November 21 regular city council meeting, Jeff Chase, Director of Downtown Development, Tourism, and Historic Preservation recognized Taylor Aubrey, Marketing and Communications Manager, for her Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) certification from Southeast Tourism Society this September.
This three-year program held each June at Mercer University’s campus in Macon, included an intense educational program from industry professionals on destination marketing topics such as Tourism Product Development, Community & Destination Board Leadership, Essentials of Tourism Marketing, Syndicated Research, and Festival & Events and required a two-part end of course project for completion. Ms. Aubrey will be able to apply her experience from Marketing College to support our city’s Visit Acworth brand by continuing to market our city as a desirable visitor destination.
