At the Thursday, August 1 regular city council meeting, Deputy City Manager of Operations Angie Luna, along with Alderman Houston, recognized members of the Acworth Power Team for their hard work and commitment to preserving the quality of life for Acworth residents due to a recent storm that left over 4,000 residents without power. Acworth Power team members were also recognized for being the recipient of the National Commendation for Electric Restoration efforts in Tallahassee, FL, after three tornadoes hit their community in May 2024.
