Sunday, April 2, 2023 has been proclaimed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen in the City of Acworth as “Education and Sharing Day” in honor of 121 years since the birth of Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson. The Rebbe was one of the leading global advocates for the advancement of education during his time, stressing that education is the bedrock of humanity and the hallmark of a healthy society. Accepting the proclamation on behalf of the city is Rabbi Zalman Charyton of Chabad Jewish Student Center at KSU. The City of Acworth calls upon government officials, educators, volunteers, and citizens to reach out to their communities and work to create a better, brighter, and more hopeful future for all.
