On Thursday, December 5 at the Acworth Business Association’s monthly luncheon, Mayor Allegood was honored to present the ABA Acworth Legacy award alongside a proclamation in recognition of Henry and Claudia Chandler for their impact on the Acworth Community. In addition to the announcement at the ABA Luncheon, Mayor Allegood also formally recognized Mr. and Mrs. Chandler at the Thursday, December 5 regular city council meeting.
The Chandlers opened Henry’s Louisiana Grill over two decades ago in Historic Downtown quickly establishing it as a cornerstone of the city’s heart and landscape. This month marks the end of an era as the Chandlers settle into retirement and pass the torch to new owners of their beloved restaurant that has helped shape downtown Acworth. On behalf of the City of Acworth, we extend our gratitude for all the Chandlers have brought to the city and thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their years of exceptional service, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the City of Acworth.
