At the Thursday, January 6 regular city council meeting, Mayor Allegood presented the annual Black History Month Proclamation to Eddie Holliman, Park Operations Supervisor for the Custodial Team. Mr. Holliman’s family accompanied him for the presentation. The City of Acworth encourages all residents to join us in celebrating the collective ingenuity, creativity, and traditions of African Americans and encourages participation in educational events honoring their contributions to our American culture.
