At the Thursday, February 1 regular city council meeting, Mayor Tommy Allegood presented the Annual Georgia Day Proclamation to members of the Liberty Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  This year marks the 291st anniversary in celebrating the proud and rich heritage of Georgia.  Georgians are invited to rediscover our state’s natural, cultural, and historical wonders and sites, as well as recognize the people, institutions, and historic events that have shaped Georgia’s place in our shared history and global commerce.
