This event also allows the Acworth community to learn more about the city by engaging with department leaders who will be onsite to discuss the roles their departments play within the city team.

The Acworth Tree Commission is a five-member board appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen for staggered terms of four years. The Commission is responsible for the annual Arbor Day program, planting of trees in the community, and leading the efforts of the Acworth Community Garden. The Commission meets the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at 3:45 p.m. at the Acworth Community Center.
