TRAFFIC NOTICE: Acworth Power and Public Works is excited to share with our residents, information regarding the Baker Grove Road Improvement Project. The City has contracted Vertical Earth, who began work in January 2024. The project is expected to be completed by the end of May 2024.

There may be intermittent traffic delays on the road, intersections, and driveway approaches as construction equipment moves around and the work is being performed. The Contractor will attempt to minimize delays to the traveling residents and the public. Further, U.S. Mail, private delivery, and sanitation services will continue throughout the duration of the project with minimal interruptions.

Safety is the most important aspect of the project. You can help us keep everyone safe by respecting all signs and construction zones and driving at a low and safe speed. During the placement and curing of concrete, please remain off the concrete while barricades are in place. Please avoid contact with concrete to minimize delays in construction. We are excited for this project, which will improve the community for years to come by providing safe roads and reliable drainage to residents in the area.
