At the Thursday, December 21, 2023 regular city council meeting, Mayor Allegood presented a proclamation to Alderman Gene Pugliese in recognition of 16 years of service to the Board of Aldermen.  Alderman Pugliese was also awarded a plaque and framed photo of the Acworth Pedestrian Bridge to commemorate his involvement in completing a legacy of city projects.  Members of Alderman Pugliese’s family were present for the recognition.  The City of Acworth would like to thank Alderman Pugliese, on his retirement from the Acworth Board of Aldermen, for his steadfast love and dedication to the Acworth community.
