Proclamation in Recognition of United States Marine Corps Day, November 7
At the Thursday, November 7 regular city council meeting, Alderman Brett North presented the annual United States Marine Corps Day Proclamation to Acworth IT Director Matthew Sender who served six years as sergeant with the Marines Corps.
U.S. Marine Corps Day is being recognized in the City of Acworth on November 10, and citizens are urged to acknowledge the service, sacrifice, and faithfulness of those who have and are serving as well as their families.
