At the Thursday, April 4 regular city council meeting, Mayor Allegood presented Rabbi Zalman with a proclamation celebrating Education and Sharing Day on April 19, 2024.

Education and Sharing day is observed each year on Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson’s birthday of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, and celebrates a day to pause and reflect on our responsibility to ensure our youth have the foundation necessary to lead lives rich in purpose and fulfillment through service and good works.
