The Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department is excited to host the Mother-Son Camp Out at Proctor Landing Park on September 16-17, 2023. This event is open to mothers and their sons, 13 and under. Participants will camp alongside the beautiful Lake Allatoona while learning about camping etiquette, campfire building, knot tying, and a variety of other outdoor activities! Concert on the Green: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, presented by Kaiser Permanente and Urbina Immigration Law, returns to Logan Farm Park on Saturday, September 23, 2023! On Saturday, September 30, Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise in Downtown Acworth. The event will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street). The Lake City Cruisers partner with the City and the downtown Acworth merchants to hold these Classic Car Cruises. The event is free to the public. A $5 entry fee is requested for all vehicles in the cruise. All proceeds go to the Horizon Field, an all-inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth. READ MORE

The Taste of Acworth is an annual event that will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The City of Acworth partners with the Acworth Business Association and JRM Management to host this event on Main Street in Downtown Acworth.
