The City of Acworth is honored to once again host the M2R Fence Gallery! This curated traveling art installation will be on display from July 20-August 17 throughout the Historic Downtown and Parkside Districts. The Lake Authority is a five-member board where the elected Mayor serves as the Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and Board to serve. They are a group of citizens that assist the City by providing citizen input and engagement into the operation, management, and the development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority meets at the Acworth Community Center (4361 Cherokee Street) on the first Monday of the month at noon.
