Saturday hours will be from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday hours will be 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. \nAt the Acworth Art Fest\, the always energetic Kidz Zone is filled with fun activities that make smiles bloom. This vibrant play-land is an exhilarating place to be for young people and their happy parents. DESCRIPTION:In honor of America’s 250th birthday\, the City of Acworth is excited to announce the Threads of Freedom Parade to be held on Sunday\, June 14th\, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. \nThe parade will run along Historic Main Street with a start at the First Baptist Church before finishing at the Holbrook. Residents\, families\, businesses\, and organizations will be invited to register to participate in the parade. Registered parties can use any street-legal vehicle they choose (PTV\, truck/trailer\, car\, etc.). More details and registration information coming soon\, but please save the date for this momentous event in the community. SUMMARY:Taste of Acworth
DESCRIPTION:The Taste of Acworth is an annual event that will take place on Saturday\, October 17\, 2026\, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The City of Acworth partners with the Acworth Business Association and JRM Management to host this event on Main Street in Downtown Acworth. This event benefits numerous local schools and charities in our community. Approximately 18\,000 visitors taste their way through this collection of delicacies every year and it is expected to evolve tremendously! There are over 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses\, plus two live entertainment stages!  Children will have plenty to do with inflatables\, quad bungees\, and challenging games located in the kid zone. \nAdmission is FREE!  An array of diverse restaurants will be offering food samples from $1.00 to $10.00 to satisfy every palate.  Parking will be available throughout town. DESCRIPTION:The 17th annual Acworth Turkey Chase will take place on Saturday\, November 21st. Enjoy an exhilarating 5K run\, jog\, or walk through Historic Downtown Acworth and along the shores of beautiful Lake Acworth. The City of Acworth Parks\, Recreation\, and Community Resource Department presents this annual Thanksgiving tradition to benefit the Tackle Hunger Program! For the past ten years\, Turkey Chase runners have helped stock local food pantries during the holiday season! Be sure to save the date for this special event.  Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.
