SUMMARY:July 4th Concert and Fireworks
DESCRIPTION:Let freedom Ring! The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta. \nEach year on July 4th\, live music and fireworks take place at Cauble Park. Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (subject to change depending on weather). \nAdmission to the event and concert is FREE! \nTables are available for purchase here.  \nIf you do not have a parking pass or if the parking is full\, you will need to park downtown and walk down to the park. Shuttles will not be running for this event. Handicap parking will be available at McCall Primary School and there will be a shuttle provided for handicapped attendees. Handicap shuttles begin at noon.

This back-to-school bash will take place at Logan Farm Park on Saturday\, July 25. We will have a “silent hour” from 9am – 10am with limited lights\, sirens and sounds for our sensitive populations. SUMMARY:Santa's Arrival Presented by: Summerwell\, Bells Ferry
DESCRIPTION:The City of Acworth\, along with their partner NorthStar Church is excited to host this year’s Santa’s Arrival! Santa arrives in Historic Downtown Acworth on Friday\, December 4\, 2026.  Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Santa is scheduled to arrive at 6:30 p.m.  There will be a host of live performances and activities until 8:30 p.m. to help Santa kick off the holiday season. Bring the entire family to hear Mayor Tommy Allegood read The Night Before Christmas and watch the lighting of the tree on the Plaza behind Henry’s.  Enjoy pictures with Mr. Claus\, eating candy canes with all his elves\, and filling the streets with the holiday spirit. Pictures with Santa are free each year and begin at 6:45 p.m.  There will not be a photographer onsite\, so please plan on bringing your camera to capture the special moment. \nFor more information\, call the Parks and Recreation office at 770-917-1234.
