City Offices Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The City of Acworth offices and facilities will be closed Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The Acworth community is invited to join us as we turn a day off into a day on to honor Martin Luther King Jr. with a celebration and Day of Service. For more information regarding this event, check out: Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service – City of Acworth, GA

As part of the 2025 MLK Jr. Day of Service Celebration Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department will be partnering with Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue. The community is welcome to donate items to support Mostly Mutts starting now and leading up to the MLK Day of Service event. Donations can be left at the Acworth Community Center. Volunteers can also sign up to volunteer at Mostly Mutts on Monday, January 20 after the MLK Program concludes.
